Inside The Barn

Inside the barn, there is a large open dining area at one end and a sitting area around the open log fire at the other end.
Whilst the whole house is heated by an underfloor system, the sitting room also has a log fire which we light regularly throughout the winter. There is also a television in this room.
The kitchen, which many years ago was used for dairy cows and before that for the farm's cart horses, also has its "sitting" end and looks out through french windows onto the garden on the south side and the sheep grazing on the north side. We keep a table outside overlooking the garden, so we can easily eat outside if we feel like it, or just sit and chat...
A selection of some of the chairs in the kitchen.
The king size / twin bedroom is up its own staircase from the barn, with ensuite shower room (with a really good power shower). It overlooks the garden and field.
The double, twin and single rooms are in the converted stables which adjoin the Barn from the sitting room. The double room has an ensuite shower which connects to the twin room, so is ideal for family use. These two rooms will only be used at the same time by a family or group.
The double, twin and single rooms are in the converted stables which adjoin the Barn from the sitting room. The twin bedroom can be used by a family or group also using the double bedroom which connects through the adjoining shower room. Alternatively, the twin room can have exclusive use of the adjoining shower room: these two rooms will only be used at the same time by a family or group.
